Sarah is director of London Connected Learning Centre. She was previously a primary teacher and deputy headteacher and she now works with schools and settings from foundation stage to sixth form providing professional learning for teachers and strategic advice for school senior leadership teams. She recently published a study on the impact of blogging on children’s writing, which she presented for the Harold Rosen Memorial Lecture at UCL Institute of Education with co-author Myra Barrs. Sarah's other areas of interest include digital portfolios, assessment, early years and digital strategy in schools. Sarah can support schools with their computing curriculum planning, assessment, ICT Mark and digital strategy. Sarah is also available for public speaking engagements.

​​Christian has a wide range of experience of supporting a schools to adopt effective, evidence based approaches to impacting on learning with technology. Christian has also supported many schools in adopting effective approaches to delivering the computing curriculum. He has been involved in developing innovative uses of technology in education as part of being deputy and acting manager of Luton CLC, as a local authority advisor and as an Apple Education Trainer. Christian is also a Google Certified Educator.

Until February 2018, Julia was deputy director of the CLC. She is now a senior associate for the centre overseeing social media and comms as well as leading on the CLC's partnership with the Rosendale Research School. Julia is an Apple Distinguished Educator a CEOP Ambassador and an Online Safety Mark assessor. She has particular interest in music and audio technology and social media.

Luis has provided technical support to schools and children's centres across London for the past five years. He has a particular interest in helping schools set up Google Apps For Education and in managing iPads. He loves problem solving and finding technical solutions for schools.

Krzysztof leads London CLC’s technical team and manages technical service support across a number of London schools. Krzysztof’s specialisms include network design and installation, auditing schools’ technical infrastructure and giving advice and consultancy on a variety of digital solutions including Google Apps For Education and other cloud-based services. Krzysztof has a passion for technology and is London CLC’s resident expert on technical innovations. He is also a great photographer and is our official photographer in residence..

RRowan specialises in primary computing, especially in the areas of games design, programming and computational thinking. As a full-time tutor with us, Rowan leads workshops supporting a variety of curriculum areas including science, design and technology, humanities and maths, as well as the computing curriculum. Her previous experience, as a teacher, tutor and mentor for educational charities and as a drama teacher in Shanghai, sparked her interest in education. Rowan is particularly inspired by the potential of Minecraft and 3D printing to support a range of learning and has developed London CLC’s work with schools in this area, including setting up school Minecraft Clubs.

Blossom specialisms include supporting schools through computational art, photography, animation, filmmaking and design. From animation with under-fives to film master classes for A level students, Blossom can support your school in all aspects of your digital media provision. She runs teacher CPD, pupil sessions and offers consultancy and advice.

Blossom is a practising graphic designer with over 15 years experience in education.

Tim does the financial administration, catering and front of house for London CLC. He is in charge of the building and makes sure we provide a safe working environment for staff and visitors. Tim has over 20 years’ administration and finance experience, having worked in the fashion industry, museum and charity sectors. He has a great passion for serving the community in which he lives and is a keep fit fanatic.

Sue works with communities across Lambeth and London supporting adults to develop their confidence in using technology. Sue is an expert in helping people navigate the complexities of staying safe and connected in a digital world. In addition to leading adult IT courses, which run over several weeks, Sue also leads online safety and anti-cyber bullying workshops for parents and vulnerable members of the community in schools and other settings.

​​James is a key contact for schools​ ​​and other organisations involved in London CLC programmes​. He ensures that the projects and services we provide are delivered effectively​ and to the highest standard. James also leads on our social media strategy. James has taught in Thailand and Uganda as well as managing a maths and English tuition centre before joining the London ​CLC ​team.

​​Caitlin has been working at London CLC since 2014, delivering workshops and professional learning to primary school pupils and teachers with a particular focus on creative digital. She began her career in music technology before taking a year out to train as a clown. Caitlin is a Google certified educator, an Apple teacher and is Google certified in online marketing. She is also the voice of several BBC Bitesize animations.

​​An experienced teacher, trainer, consultant and manager, Peter works with schools offering curriculum consultancy for computing curriculum from EYFS to post 16, developing effective technology enhanced learning and the use of ICT across the curriculum; strategic level work including development planning and quality marks; and online safety. Peter is accredited as an assessor for several national and well-established schemes (ICT Mark and 360 Safe) as well as a trainer for multiple platforms and products, alongside holding CEOP Ambassador, and Parenting in the Digital Age facilitator status. He is an LGfL associate advisor.

​​Joe has a background in fine art, predominantly working in sculpture, photography and film. As a teaching assistant, Joe supports the teaching team with the preparation and delivery of pupil workshops. Joe’s interests lie in how technology can aid the development of creative skills of young people.

​​As one of the newest members of the CLC technical team Nisar is enjoying getting to know our partner schools. He has experience with a wide range of technology and has a particular interest in Office 365, Google Apps and managing servers. He loves solving challenging problems and finding technical solutions.

​​Ben supports our business and operations processes to ensure that all projects and services are delivered to the highest standard. He is an experienced senior manager, a PRINCE 2 and Agile qualified project manager and ensures that we provide excellent customer service. He is also responsible for developing new business. Outside of work Ben is a keen theatre director and has delivered Theatre In Education performances to schools across Yorkshire and Essex as well as successfully touring a one-man show around the UK in 2016.

​​As a media assistant, Gonçalo supports the running of our school workshops. Gonçalo has a wide range of experience within the creative arts industry, working in radio, music, art and event production.

​​Jon has provided technical support for institutions such as the UK Parliament and Historic Royal Palaces for the past seven years. In his new role with us he is continuing to expand his interests in networking, IT security and cloud infrastructure. He loves solving challenging problems and working closely with others to find technical solutions.

Afeefa brings her experience of working as a teaching assistant in schools and her passion for creativity to support children to achieve the best of their ability.
