It’s back. Our award-winning collaboration with IBM returns for its fifth season and is open for booking now.
Designed for teachers with a responsibility for primary computing, and delivered by IBM professionals alongside our education experts, the course will help you to:
- Explore effective ways to support colleagues in teaching computing
- Better understand the computing attainment targets
- Get to grips with assessment and progression
- Develop imaginative and creative ways to embed computing across the curriculum
The summer school takes place over three days – Monday 2 July to Wednesday 4 July 2018 – the first two at the IBM campus on London’s Southbank and the final day at London CLC’s learning centre in Clapham.
The wide-ranging programme will explore the principles of computational thinking, digital literacy, online safety and information systems within real world contexts, including IBM’s commercial and social programmes. There will be hands-on sessions with a variety of technologies from Raspberry Pi, Python and Minecraft to Micro:bit and robotics tools.
