London CLC has made it through to the finals of the Service and Support category of the Bett Awards 2018.
The award celebrates UK-based companies and educational organisations that provide effective services, support and professional development to ensure that ICT really makes an impact in the classroom. It recognises the fact that educators need ongoing support for ICT in a wide variety of contexts, from technical support and skills training to curriculum training.
As Bett itself said in announcing the finalists:
“The field of competition was, as always, exceptionally fierce and those who have made it through to the final selection should be rightly proud.”
Here’s the video we submitted:
We’re delighted to have our work recognised by the Bett judges and we’re immensely grateful to everyone who’s contributed.
A huge thanks also to our clients and for the positive things they said to the judges:
“London CLC provide outstanding support for the schools – from the technical, which ensures that a school’s technology is always ready to meet the demands of the children, to the pedagogical, which provides high-quality CPD and input with high impact for staff. This includes both hands-on practical combined with the learning theory to underpin its use.”
Headteacher, Rosendale Primary School
“… (CLC) technicians have transformed the infrastructure across the school and we always have confidence that procurement advice is provided with not only independence and value for money in mind, but primarily how the equipment can aid our delivery of the curriculum…
London CLC’s impact at the school is backed up by our recent Outstanding OFSTED report, that states: ‘The quality of teaching is outstanding, technology is used well to enhance learning’.”
Becky Lawrence, deputy headteacher, Hill Mead Primary School.
