To support London CLC into its next phase of growth, we are seeking a creative, confident and organised person, with a strong interest in both education and technology to become the centre’s  business and operations manager.  The ideal candidate will be dynamic and commercially astute with extensive financial experience. They will have the ability to see the long-term view whilst managing the short-term detail.  Ideally, the candidate will have worked within the education sector or have a good understanding of the issues and opportunities in schools.  Essentially they will have experience of sales and working to strategic objectives.

While we’ve got plenty to offer regarding a varied working life and professional development, London CLC is also looking to learn from you. We want someone who has a real flair for business and who’s excited about working for an imaginative organisation that uses the potential of technology to support learning.

London Connected Learning Centre (CLC), a part of Education Development Trust, supports schools and other education settings in using digital technologies to improve learning.  We are based in an architect-designed centre in Clapham Old Town, but we work across the UK and internationally helping schools and others become confident in their use and understanding of digital technologies. The CLC has a strong research focus and is involved in several significant projects with the Education Endowment Fund and others. We also work closely with business and other organisations to develop digital learning programmes within real-world creative contexts.

In our experience, the  London Connected Learning Centre is a pretty much unique organisation in the formal education system in the UK.  Their integration of technology, pedagogy, and creativity; the robustness of their thinking about these areas; and the fact that their practice embraces families, young children, older students, and teachers makes them a leader in the field of creative education.
