Wanted: Creative Teaching Assistants
£9.75 per hour/Casual basis
We are looking for some lovely people to join our team on a casual basis to support our innovative digital programmes that support children and young people, their teachers and their families.
The role will involve supporting teaching sessions both at our centre in Clapham Old Town and in school. The CLC’s work is varied from film and media sessions with A’level students to animation, web design and programming with primary-aged children and basic IT courses for parents. You do not need to have prior knowledge of any of the technology we use but experience working with children and young people in a creative context would be an advantage.
Ideal candidates will be organised, hard-working and willing to learn on the job.
At present, it is a casual role with flexible days, but the majority of the work takes place during school hours.
If you feel you have the passion and drive to support cutting edge education please send a CV and covering letter to Kim Morrison; email@example.com .
The CLC is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Criminal Records Bureau”.
