BETT week is a busy week!

Three of our favourite things from a week at London CLC:

  1. Our Dutch and Danish visitors who travelled to London to visit the BETT show and see how the CLC supports our SLA schools in using technology effectively in the classroom. They enjoyed a scratch session with Rowan, a talk on the innovative use of technology in schools with Sarah and tours round our lovely partner schools Lark Hall, St Gabriel’s and Crown Lane. Thanks to all the pupils and teachers who hosted our guests – they had a brilliant time.
  2. The 60 year 1 pupils from Granton Primary who joined us on Wednesday for an animation workshop. We loved hearing their imaginative responses to Sound On/Vision Off and working with them to create beautiful animations about Sir Frances Drake and his journey around the world.
  3. Year 4 and Year 1 pupils from Sudbourne Primary who improved their understanding or left and right using Beebots and learned to build and programme machines with Lego Wedo.

Honourable mention goes to the brand new schools we met at The Unicorn Theatre’s Iron Man CPD session and the NQTs learning all about online safety.
