We’ve become a CAS Hub!

TATE Exchange

The CLC are delighted to be part of the TATE Exchange programme. Yesterday afternoon, Chris Follows from Camberwell College of the Arts at University Arts London presented on the collaboration that had already taken place between the CLC and UAL. We had a wonderful day discussing future plans with fellow associates. You can read more about the TATE Exchange experiment here. Watch this space to see what the CLC are doing and how you can get involved.

Last night marked the launch of the CLC CAS hub, great evening working with colleagues using Python to programme the micro:bit. Super designs by all. For more information about CAS activities contact Rowan Roberts: rrboberts@londonclc.org.uk

EYFS Forum

EYFS forum group of teachers explored the importance of young children learning about how to use digital Technologies. We looked at synergies between early years pedagogy and computational thinking ie problem-solving, tinkering, exploring and sequencing.

News from the tech team

Summer tidy up has started and the tech team are busy arranging installation and maintenance work which needs done in our schools over the holidays.
Top tech tip of the week – check your server room Air Con before summer kicks in…if it gets too hot it won’t work!
