What we’ve been up to and what is coming up at CLC

What’s coming up at CLC in summer term?

The sun is shining and there is plenty to be excited about as we head further into the summer term.  Here is a little round-up of some of the exciting CPD events we have planned.

CAS Lambeth Hub Launch: Introducing the Micro:bit – Thursday 19th May – 4.30pm – 6.30pm

Join us for the launch of Lambeth’s brand new CAS Hub at London CLC, focusing on the brand new BBC Micro:bit. As well as being a great opportunity to become part of our community, this session will include workshops for both primary and secondary teachers, during which you’ll have the opportunity to try out the Micro:bit; the clever little piece of electronics at the centre of the BBC’s Make It Digital initiative.

The CLC’s Art and Design subject leaders’ forum is an opportunity for colleagues to share their expertise and work with a CLC tutor to investigate a range of digital technologies that can support visual art teaching. The forum will combine discussion, hands-on activities and sharing, and will bring together teachers with representatives from museums and galleries to raise awareness of the opportunities available across London.
