Digital Leader Takeover
This week Digital Leaders from 15 schools took over the CLC as part of our Digital Leader Academy, professional development sessions just for children. This year the focus was on internet safety day, which is coming up in February. The Digital Leaders took the opportunity to learn more about E-safety and discuss action plans for keeping everyone in school safe online. Podcasts, films and posters were created to help pass on the information. We had a great time working with everyone, Lambeth schools are in very digitally safe hands!
While the children got to grips with E-safety, we worked with SLT and teachers to help them advise parents and carers on internet safety at our CPD session on Thursday. Then on Friday we continued the planning our new digital skills for adults framework in consultation with parents from Clapham Manor Children’s Centre and their very active toddlers.
If we can help you with any aspect of E-safety in school – get in touch: firstname.lastname@example.org
Town Planning in Minecraft
On Friday it was the turn of year 3 & 4 from Cathedral Primary to plan and design their very own town in Minecraft. We have airports, hostipals, schools, refuge centres and a very smart town hall.
